Tom O’C Has Written The Greatest Song Ever Written!!

Holy Shit. Like…wow. Just…wow. Okay, Funny Crave isn’t the place to gush about a hot new singer that will one day tear up the charts, but—but holy fuck shit assholes!

Youtube user  tomoconor2009 has just posted his first video for his soon-to-be hit single off of what will surely be his first smash hit album (which we are told via word bubble in the video will be release in Fall 2009). And…Christ! It’s fucking great. We know that there is another Crave site out there that is solely dedicated to music, but we love tomoconor2009′s music so much that we just have to talk about it. You see tomoconor2009? Your music – your awesome, awesome music – is already making us shatter our workplace rules just as you shatter all preconceived notions of what the word “Talent” means.

In his debut video for this endlessly catchy tune “Entrepreneur,” Tom O’C blazes up the track with soaring vocals that have Auto Tune laid on them so thick and rich you’d think that Tom O’C was actually a robot that learned how to say the words “Girl,” “How you make me feel,” and “Tru” instead of the more common, and more correct, “Through.”

The song itself is a bit of a love letter to the platonic love bonds that a man and a woman can share if sex weren’t an issue…and if the man were very gay. Tom O’C lets his obvious homosexuality flow forth in not only the song, but also in the song’s brilliant video that showcases some truly groundbreaking visual effects such as the photo slideshow and…well, that’s pretty much it. BUT HE SLIDESHOW’S SOOOO FUCKING GOOD, YOU GUYS!

The video’s visual imagery is astounding as various pictures of Tom looking like a man that hates vaginas while he stands next to women that probably have vaginas. This is offset by a picture at the 1:06 mark that shows Tom standing in a park while wearing a pink shirt and holding an orange tipped airsoft pistol. This is obviously a critique on modern hip hop and its obsession with overt manliness. That or it’s truly lame. But we’re going to go with the first one.

The final 2 minutes of the video is nothing more than a picture of Tom standing like a total douche in front of a door that is probably attached to a hallway that leads to room where Tom O’C’s mom is probably doing his laundry. The most compelling part of this is the intricate metaphor that plays on many levels. This metaphor is, of course, that Tom totally isn’t a douche. We, the listeners, know this because we do.  We. Just. Do. Now, some say that that isn’t a metaphor at all. We will not argue with this seeing as we are not entirely sure as to what a metaphor even is. But regardless, that picture is, like, super metaphor.

So, yeah. Sorry about the rant, guys. We just really, really love Tom O’C and his soulful music. He will, undoubtedly, have an incredible career.

Oh, and as if you didn’t get it, Tom O’C fucking sucks.
