Shat vs. Shit: William Shatner Debates Rush Limbaugh on Health care…For Some Reason
By Luis PradaIf there’s one person that we needed to hear from the most during this whole health care debate in American, It’s Captain Kirk. The crew of the Enterprise had universal health care, so why can’t modern day earthlings have it, too?
That should have been the focus of the debate between William Shatner and Rush Limbaugh during Shatner’s Bio channel interview show “Raw Nerve,” but, instead, we got less of an argument about how a science fiction show can act as a model for the real world, and we got more of two aged white guys that clearly don’t know how to argue their respective points.
The idea of the clip is far more exciting than the clip itself, but it does contain one or two pretty decent gems. Like Rush trying to explain how health care should basically be regulated to rich people that can afford…beach houses? And Shatner knowing what he wants to say and the point he wants to make, but instead of framing his argument in a logical way, he opts to speak in broad generalities that don’t mean a whole hell of a lot.
If that clip went on for a few minutes longer, we’re certain the argument would have boiled down to “Health. Is it good?” To which Rush would have argued that people only deserve health if you think of humans giant sacks of money, and Shatner would have argued that health is good because it keeps you healthy.
After that, Shatner would have body slammed Rush and forced a Centurion Slug down his throat, where it would have wrapped itself around Rush’s brain stem and forced him to tell the truth.
And after that, that show would have never made it to air due to Rush’s diatribe on how blacks smell funny and the poor should be kept in basements to be used as sexual meat puppets.

Really dude? You see one article that pokes fun in a small way at a Republican figurehead, and you automaticaly assume that the entirety of the website is run by "libs"? And then you go on to insult them?
It's people like you that bring the whole of the Republican Party down on the "relevancy" scale. Way to be a stereotypical right-wing retard, genius.
