Kind of how Mike stated. It's cyclical. Dec 21, 2012, is the end of the calendar, but Dec 22, 2012 is the starting over of the calendar. The Mayans believe the word will end sometime way in the future; its basically a 41 with 28 zeros after it, so we don't have to worry about that.
