Irish Politician F-Bombs

It should come as no surprise to you that the FunnyCrave staff stays firmly abreast of Irish politics, and we’re not even sure if “firmly abreast” makes grammatical sense, but it brings to mind firm boobies and that’s all we were going for.  Indeed, we keep one television in the staff lounge tuned to Irish CSPAN (ISPAN?) all the time, just in case another Leprechaun debate breaks out (Ed. Note – we would have said “drunken” Leprechaun debate but that’s redundant).

Thanks to our vigilance, we were pleased to discover this little nugget of Irish Parliamentary discussion in which one member of the Green party, which we like to think is the same as the North American Green party only with less patchouli and more whiskey, simply throws down and says “fuck you” to another member of Parliament for not respecting his sincerity.  Nothing defends sincerity quite like “fuck.”

You’ll notice the most awesome part of this video is not the fact that this dude curses out another politician, and he does it super angry forceful-like (look at his head snap forward when he lobs that F-Bomb, it’s like he was spitting it across the room), no, the most awesome part of the video is visible at about 0:48 when you get a wide shot and see there are like 5 people in the whole goddamn room.  Irish politics kicks ass.

While that gem is the best part of the video, a heartfelt round of applause to the follow up when some woman decides to throw down as well and gets a tiny bell rung repeatedly to shut her up.  It’s like a weak, slightly uncivilized boxing match with hilarious accents capped off with the proclamation that the Irish people are screwed as a country.  So fuck you.

In the interests of fostering international relations, we feel that the US could benefit from this example.  In the future, here are some things we’d like to see highlighted on CNN (Not FOX, they’re too busy spelunking their own asses);

-Dick Cheney openly feasting on blood
