Interpretive Fart Dancing

Ok, seriously, what the fuck, Japan? It’s like you guys aren’t even trying to disguise your absurdity with a thin, silky veil of logic anymore. I’m pretty sure you guys are fully aware of how westerners love to be baffled by what’s happening on your shows, so you went ahead and created something that is pretty much impossible decipherer. It’s like the video version of a Sudoku puzzle just with about 1000% more flatulence.

As you can plainly see in the video, the Japanese have officially lost their shit. Clearly, they still have a bunch of emotional scars left over from that whole 2 nuclear bomb thing we did to them. They used to be honorable and such, now they’re that weird kid in P.E. class that seems to be practicing his fencing maneuvers with his head buried deep in to a large, orange traffic cone.

This video sparks a question in my mind. Something I’ve always thought about when it comes to Japanese television. Is there such a thing as a Japanese TV drama that isn’t animated? Or, is the video above an example of one? Their stations can’t possibly be loaded with freestyle fart dancing during primetime, can it? Even if there are Japanese dramas, we in the western world would always be expecting someone to fall off of a giant rubber ball in to a filthy pond, or wrap themselves in octopi.
