Eva Mendes Wanted to be a Nun

The Lord works in mysterious ways.  In a recent interview with ContactMusic, Eve Mendes said that, as a child, she wanted to be a nun.  And then the Lord looked upon this brewing situation and said “fuck that shit!” and Eva changed her path.  What was it that derailed Eva’s dreams of celibacy?  Money.  After reassuring her mom that one day she would become a nun and pay all of her mom’s bills, Eva’s sister (who is probably also pretty hot, if we’re guessing) broke the news that nuns don’t get paid.  So instead, Eva Mendes decided to be barely clothed and sexy.  And to act in movies from time to time.  Amen to that!
